Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Unfortunately pets are not allowed in our peak season. Please note we have implemented a no-pet policy during the peak operating season of June 29th to Sept 6th. We will however welcome your furry friends during our off-season!
From May opening to June 28th, and after Labor Day to Closing, there is an additional charge of $50.00 /per stay /per pet. Please contact us directly to inquire for more details.
All pets must be reported at the time of booking or confirmed prior to arrival. All pets must be on a leash or leashed when at Fairways Cottages.No pets are allowed unless pre-approved by the property manager.
Q: Do you have free WiFi?
A: Yes. Each of our cabins has free wireless internet available. The login information will be in the cabin upon your arrival.
Q. Can we have a fire outside in a fire pit?
A. There are a couple of fire pits for guests to have their own campfires. Please keep flames to a manageable height and extinguish them completely when done.
Q. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY?
A. To guarantee the best experience for our guests. we have a maximum number of people per cottage, which depends on cottage size. More information could be found on the page “All cottages”.
***Room occupancy requirements are based on fire code/fire safety restrictions. If you exceed the maximum number of guests allowed, you will be asked to rent another cottage for proper accommodations or vacate the cottage. Room rates are listed for standard people amount.***
Q: Registered name?
A: We only accept the name that is Registered to check-in. A photo ID will be requested.
Q: Smoking?
A: NO SMOKING INDOORS. If you smoke outside, please clean up after yourself. Any cigarette butts found on the property will be taken out of your Credit card.
Avonlea Cottage is a 100% smoke-free hotel. For safety and to assure that our facility is not exposed to items or actions that create an odor that is unhealthy and objectionable to our guests and staff, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls, and furniture, we do not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine, hookahs, incense, cigars, candle burning, the use or diffusing of patchouli oil or other strong-smelling plant-based essential oils or synthetic products in our facility.
Q: Lines?
A: Yes! All bath and kitchen linens as well as bedding are provided during your stay. Please DO NOT take our shower towels out to the Pool. They are to remain in the cottage, please.
Q: Hot Tub & Pool Policy? Hours?
A: Our hot tub & pool is available for our guest only. Visitors are not permitted in the hot tub or swimming pool. The hot tub & swimming pool is is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Adult supervision is required for all children under the age of 12. No lifeguard on duty. No dogs, pets, food, drinks, or smoking is allowed in the Hot Tub & Pool area. Please close the hot tub lid after use. Please refer to the posted rules at the Hot Tub for more use guidelines and rules-those guidelines and rules are considered a part of our cottage Policy/House Rules.
Q. Is there a noise policy?
A. Yes. For the comfort of other guests, Quiet time hours are from 11 pm to 8 am daily.
-While enjoying your vacation and cottage, please be courteous and respectful of others and adhere to the quiet time policy. Enjoy yourselves in such a way that it does not disturb the other guests on the property.
-Absolutely no parties or large groups are allowed.
-Zero tolerance for excessive noise or disturbance is in place. Should complaints arise, one warning ONLY will be given.
-Failure to abide by the above policy will result in a $200.00 credit card charge applied directly to the reservation name holder.
Q. What if we want to invite guests over for the day/evening but not have them stay overnight?
A. If you plan on having guests come and visit while you are staying with us, please let us know. Visitors are permitted on the property, however, it is required they sign in at the office prior to visiting our guests. Visitors are not permitted to use any of our facilities, including BBQ, pool, playground, and hot tub.
All visitors must vacate the property by 9:00 pm, otherwise, your account will be charged (without notification) the extra person fees as listed on the Rates & Reservations page of our website.
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when visiting. Visitors' pets are not inside of the cottage.
Q. Camping tents or trailers?
A. Not permitted on the property.
Q: Payment and cancellation Policy?
A: Payment schedule
25% due at the time of booking. 50% due 30 days before arrival. The remaining balance is due 3 days before arrival.
Cancellation policy
50% of paid prepayments are refundable when canceled 30 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if canceled after.
Damage Deposit
A pre-authorization of CAD 200.00 is due 1 day before arrival and released 1 day after departure.
Q: What kitchen Species are included?
